A paid internship with FMG is an incredible learning and professional opportunity to apply knowledge gained in the classroom to a real-life environment. Working full-time from our state of the art office located in the West Loop, Chicago for 12 weeks, you’ll tackle real challenges, collaborate and build relationships with colleagues and clients with the support of a world-class team of agribusiness supply chain specialists behind you.

FMG Internship Program Details

Join our world-class team for 3 months paid internship in Chicago.

As an Integral member of the Supply Chain Team, you'll learn workplace skills that you can be applied beyond your studies. You'll also spend time with the Management team to understand the history of FMG and the purpose of consolidating protein procurement.

Day To Day Activities Include:
  • PO Creation
  • Logistics Management
  • QA Compliance
  • Daily and Weekly Reports
  • Knowledge of Domestic and Global Markets
  • Summer Project to identify Value for FMG
  • Time with customers to understand the production process
  • Working with the FMG team to service the System

Adriel Gonzalez - Managing Director

Adriel Gonzalez

Managing Director

Adriel brings more than a decade of beef industry experience to the FMG team having worked across traditional retailers, broad line food distributors, traders, and foodservice throughout his career. Before joining FMG, Adriel was responsible for the entire beef and traditional case ready portfolio within Cargill Protein's Retail channel managing over 2.5B pounds of boxed beef, grind, and case-ready products annually through various Retail relationships.
Peter Wojda - Director Finance

Director of Finance

A CPA with a string of honors to his name including Boston College Presidential Scholar and Carroll School of Management Honors Program, Peter brings a wide range of business skills and experience to the team. With a logical and thorough approach to everything he does, Peter ensures FMG's business operations remain efficient and focused.
Connor FitzGerald - FMG Australasian Procurement Manager

Connor FitzGerald

Australasian Procurement Manager

Raised on a farm in the New England region of NSW Australia, Connor has spent the last 20 years contributing to every aspect of the red meat supply chain. From paddock to plate, Connor has extensive experience in the sourcing, processing, exporting and trading of chilled and frozen beef products to China, Hong Kong, Pacific Islands, South-East Asia and North America.

Prior to joining FMG Connor has held senior export trading roles at Japanese-owned beef packer NH Foods, family-owned trading firm Dunnett & Johnston as well as founding his own company to investigate the viability of a feeder cattle futures market for the Australian beef industry. When not working, Connor enjoys relaxing on Sydney's Northern Beaches and following the cricket.

Martin Lindemann - Senior Buyer

Martin Lindemann

Senior Buyer

Martin is a veteran of the beef industry with 20+ years experience in the food service, retail and wholesale sectors. Prior to joining FMG, Martin worked at Topco Associates as Category Manager, Fresh Beef Retail. He was responsible for over $300m in sales and took great pride in the relationships he developed with key suppliers and customers. When not at work, Martin's loves a good game of golf, spending time with his family and enjoying good food and drink!
Neil Corbin - Analyst

Analyst

After many years in commodity distribution, Neil brings a breath of experience and analytical skills to FMG. Prior to FMG, Neil’s experience includes raw material and finished product pricing analysis, risk management & lean distribution practices. When not working, Neil enjoy’s being outdoors with his family, exercising & reading.
Paulina Matczuk - Supply Chain Operations Manager FMG

Born and raised in Chicago, Paulina brings her attention to detail and time management skills to the FMG Supply Chain team. In her free time, Paulina loves traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite place to visit is Poland, where her family is from.
